Measurable anxiety reduction after neurofeedback

qEEG is a digital recording of electrical brain activity. It takes raw EEG and converts it into the images we refer to as a “brain map”. We use an FDA registered, international database to compare individual brain function to a normal qEEGs to better identify specific activity patterns that are likely giving rise to your symptoms. Once we have determined the specific areas and patterns of concern, we create an individualized program to address your symptoms and help your brain normalize.

qEEG allows us to help predict treatments response by comparing individual brain profiles with the known treatment responses and effects.

Neurofeedback is a highly effective and advanced form of brain training. Recent discoveries of neuroplasticity into our later years shows that our brains are constantly changing and adapting. By linking monitored brain activity to computer software, we train the brain towards improved functioning. The brain can use this feedback to adjust activity in specific regions, processing speed and connectivity long after your treatment is over.

ADHD
Effective treatment for ADHD, a complex combination of cortical dysregulation. With neurofeedback the brain is gently trained to normalize and self-regulate without the use of stimulants.

Anxiety
Readily seen using SW Loreta in a brain map and treatable with neurofeedback. Neurofeedback is effective at calming an overactive brain afflicted with anxiety and ruminating thoughts.

Autism
Neurofeedback can greatly reduce symptoms associated with autism, including sensory dysregulation, anxiety, speech delays, learning disabilities, and ruminating thoughts. We understand the complexities an autism diagnosis has for children and parents. We make special sensory accommodations to ensure a stress-free experience.

Depression
At Gray Matters we help to identify the parts of the brain that have become disengaged with life, making daily activities, and functioning difficult. We can reactivate those parts of the brain by linking monitored brain activity with a reward, to create improved brain function and longer lasting results.
